UPS Concrete Cutting Project

Project Overview:

Intracut completed a specialized concrete wall-sawing project at the UPS Meridian Park facility in Riverside, California. In partnership with Layton Construction Co., Intracut delivered precise, high-quality wall openings to support critical infrastructure improvements at this large-scale industrial facility.

Precision Concrete Wall Sawing:

The scope of work included 32 saw-cut wall openings, each measuring 8 ft x 10 ft x 10 inches thick. Every opening required:

• Precision wall saw-cutting
• Concrete chain sawing
• Controlled break-out and concrete removal
• Protection of surrounding structures and finishes

Cutting thick structural walls while maintaining accuracy and safety was a key challenge. Intracut utilized advanced concrete wall sawing equipment and proven cutting techniques to ensure clean edges, accurate dimensions, and minimal impact to adjacent areas.

Specialized Equipment & Site Coordination:

This concrete cutting project required detailed coordination and the use of heavy-duty equipment, including:

• Bobcats and mini excavators
• Lifts and ventilation fans
• Super 10 trucks
• Protective plywood and jobsite safeguards
