Intracut partnered with RCI Builders, Inc. to deliver multi-stage concrete cutting and selective demolition for The Sanctuary, a luxury apartment community in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Because commercial construction requires shifting field conditions, RCI Builders called Intracut back for 19 separate mobilizations over a 23-day period. Our crews provided rapid, reliable support as concrete sawing and structural modification needs evolved on-site—from high-reach core drilling to heavy slab removal.

Core Drilling & Wall Sawing Services

Throughout construction, Intracut executed a full range of precision core drilling and heavy cutting scopes through reinforced concrete and CMU block walls:

• High-Reach & Elevated Core Drilling: Drilled horizontal and vertical core penetrations across wall thicknesses ranging from ground level up to 14 feet high using scissor lifts.
• Structural Wall Sawing: Modified existing concrete structures, including precision cuts through a 16-inch-thick second-floor concrete deck to enlarge wall and door openings.
• Specialized Cutting: Utilized hand sawing and chain sawing for tight-access areas requiring zero overcuts.

Flat Sawing, Asphalt Cutting & Concrete Removal

For ground-level slab modifications, our team mobilized heavy flat saws, skid steers, and breaker attachments to keep the job site on schedule:

• 1,280 Linear Feet of flat sawing across concrete slabs and asphalt pavement.
• 4,800 Square Feet of concrete breaking and removal.
• Trenching & Utility Prep: Saw-cut trenches, curb and gutter sections, and sidewalk panels for utility installations.
• Precision Chipping: Hand-sawed and chipped depressed slab areas to exact engineering specifications.
