Project Details

In the heart of Alhambra, California, lies Seen Health—PACE Elderly Care Center, a place dedicated to providing compassionate care for seniors.

Recently, ConAm Building Co. entrusted Intracut with a critical project to enhance the facility’s infrastructure. This ambitious undertaking involved a comprehensive tenant improvement and site demolition, a testament to Intracut’s expertise in demolition and construction services.

The scope of work was extensive and meticulously planned. Intracut’s team, led by experienced foremen and supported by skilled laborers and specialized equipment, commenced the transformation.

The project began with removing concrete paving, planter curbing, steps, and other structural elements to make way for a new, optimized layout. This phase required careful coordination and heavy machinery, including Bobcats, to ensure efficient debris removal and site preparation.

Inside the buildings, Intracut executed a complete gut-out of two one-story commercial buildings with mezzanine floors, aiming to create a fresh canvas for future renovations. Walls were removed, floors scraped clean, and doors removed, all while adhering to rigorous safety standards and environmental guidelines. Removing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing fixtures further streamlined the space, preparing it for ConAm Building Co.’s envisioned upgrades.

One of the project’s highlights was the intricate demolition of thick masonry walls to create new openings. This showcased Intracut’s proficiency with advanced cutting techniques. Each cut was executed precisely using specialized equipment, ensuring minimal disruption and structural integrity.

Throughout the project, Intracut prioritized environmental sustainability by responsibly segregating concrete, block, brick, asphalt, and dirt from other types of waste, sending these types of waste to be reused and bringing other demolition waste to a sorting facility which sorts the waste to be reused or recycled. This approach not only adhered to local regulations but also reflected Intracut’s commitment to eco-friendly practices

As the job concluded, Seen Health – PACE Elderly Care Center emerged with a revitalized space, perfectly prepared for future upgrades and improvements. Intracut’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and seamless project management resulted in a successful collaboration with ConAm Building Co., enhancing the facility’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.

This transformation at Seen Health – PACE Elderly Care Center underscores Intracut’s ability to deliver on complex demolition and renovation projects, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the industry.

Intracut extends a heartfelt thank you to Superintendent Morteza from ConAm Building Co. for his invaluable support and collaboration throughout the Seen Health – PACE Elderly Care Center project in Alhambra, California. Morteza’s dedication and expertise played a crucial role in the success of this complex tenant improvement and site demolition endeavor.
