Project Overview:

Intracut completed a multi-phase interior demolition and HVAC scope for Prudential Financial’s retirement services office in Thousand Oaks, CA, in collaboration with Clune Construction. The work was carefully planned to support the overall construction schedule while maintaining a strong focus on safety, protection, and quality workmanship.

Phase One – Selective Demolition:

Phase one included extensive selective demolition and material removal throughout the interior space. The scope included the removal and salvage of blinds, doors, and frames; demolition of partition walls and drywall headers; removal of millwork and upper cabinets; finish flooring removal using machine-hard scraping; demolition of T-bar ceilings with associated lighting and conduit; and removal of plumbing fixtures and signage. Thorough protection measures were implemented to safeguard surrounding areas, and debris was managed efficiently to maintain a clean, organized job site.

Phase Two – Selective Demolition:

Phase two focused on additional selective demolition, including the removal of finish flooring and T-bar ceiling systems with lighting and conduit. This work was completed through careful coordination to minimize disruption and ensure a seamless transition to the next scope.

HVAC Low-Side Duct work:

The final phase involved removing the existing low-side HVAC duct work. This scope was executed with precision and attention to safety, preparing the space for future mechanical upgrades.

Safety and Protection:

Safety and protection were top priorities throughout the project. Intracut implemented comprehensive protection measures to preserve adjacent spaces, existing systems, and finished surfaces while maintaining a clean, secure, and well-organized job site.

Project Outcome:

The project was completed successfully with full client satisfaction. Intracut is grateful to Clune Construction for the opportunity to be part of this project and is proud to have contributed to the successful advancement of Prudential Financial’s retirement services office in Thousand Oaks, CA.
